They describe Blackbeards as camping at sea. It is quite accurate. There were 23 divers on the 65' sail boat along with 6 crew. We were in a double rack or bed above two people we didn't know before the week started. We know them quite well now. It was very crowed but the diving was great. The big creatures we saw were sharks, dolphins, eels, two eagle rays, stringrays and turtles. The little creatures were just as amazing. The list is long but here goes: french grunts, feather duster worms, christmas tree worms, trumpetfish, french queen and atlantic angelfish, scrawled filefish, groupers, triggerfish, black durgon, spiny spider crabs, long spiny sea urchins, scorpionfish, hogfish, barracuda, cowfish, squirrelfish, highhat drum, silversides, bluehead wrasse and on and on. We did 16 dives which included Turtle Rocks, Panther, Miami Rita, Blue Chromis, 777, Grouper Head, Yellow Brick Road, Bull Run, Rainbow Valley, Tuna Alley, Steve's Wonder, The Sapona, The Strip and the Bimini Road to Atlantis. Hope you enjoy the pictures below as much as we enjoyed taking them. Note that most of the pictures have a name below it telling what kind of fish it is.
